Whether you know someone who has suffered a loss or not, 1 in 4 women will suffer a loss via miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss at some point in their lives. October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month and October 15th is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. Finding the right words to say to these loved ones can be difficult and near impossible to do. Sometimes the best way to comfort anyone who has experienced this is to just be there for them. Some suggestions may include cooking a nice dinner, see a movie, take a walk, or even send a card that reminds them you're thinking of them. Some women and couples may even just want space. If you've experienced it yourself as well, sometimes sharing your story to show others they are not alone may go a long way.
