Prevent Early Menopause with This Simple Change

August 18, 2017
Katie Visco

If you are trying to decrease your risk of infertility, one of the ways you can do so is by putting off menopause. Putting off menopause? Can you even do that? New research says now, it's possible, and the solution is easy.

Correct, vegetables. Altering your diet to include veggies could be the way to offset your risk of early menopause. If you're thinking that you already mix a vegetable in every now and then, that's not exactly where we're going. We're talking about getting your protein almost entirely from those little green things. While a study showed that omitting animal based proteins had little effect on preventing premature menopause, that same study showed that women who ate increasingly more vegetable proteins were 59% less likely to have menopause early. Take a bite out of that!
