Women are 3 Times More Likely to Get Pregnant from IUI

A new study shows that women are THREE times more likely to get pregnant if a doctor places sperm inside the uterus than through actually having sex. Pregnancy rates in couples given 3 cycles of intrauterine insemination (IUI) were compared to those who had intercourse and the findings are astounding. Among the 101 couples on IUI, there were 31 live births. Experts from the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence still suggest "regular intercourse" before receiving IVF.
